Many children in the world are eagerly longing for the nurturing environment provided by a loving family, and it is our goal to help them find a home with parents who will love them, care for them, and make their dreams come true. Here are a few examples of our success stories:
Age: 13 days
The first female baby we received from CWC was abandoned as a child in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital Chennai where she was for 12 days. She was handed over to VIT as a 13-day old baby and where she grew to become a beautiful baby of 8 months before she was selected by a loving couple for adoption.
A baby girl was handed over to VIT as she was born to mentally-retarded woman and the mother had no way of taking care of her. VIT took care of the baby for 5 months before restoring her to a child care institute as per the court orders.
A chubby girl baby abandoned at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital Chennai was handed over to VIT as a newborn. VIT took care of the baby for 7 months before finding a loving, happy home through CARA for her.
A baby born to an unwed mother was handed over to an autorickshaw driver asking him to dispose of her. The auto driver took pity and wanted to adopt the baby. His neighbors reported this to the police and CWC intervened and handed over the baby to VIT. The baby grew to be nice and bubbly and was with VIT for 12 months before finding a happy home for her through CARA.
A healthy male baby was born to a physically challenged unwed mother who had no legs. She could not take care of him and surrendered the baby through CWC to VIT. At VIT the baby was brought up for 4 months and grew to become a chubby baby who soon found a loving home through CARA.
A female baby was found buried in a village tank. Some passerby heard a sound and found the baby's hand protruding from the ground. He rescued her and handed her over to the police and CWC who in turn handed her over to VIT. A born fighter, the baby girl grew to become a beautiful girl. She was with VIT for 5 months before finding a loving home through CARA.
A male baby was strangled and thrown out from a train among thorny bushes along a railway track. The police found the baby and admitted him at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (GH). The baby was in GH for almost 1 month and then was handed over to VIT where he was for 5 months before finding a loving home through CARA.
A chubby girl baby was surrendered by an unwed minor mother and CWC handed her over to VIT. She grew to be a healthy baby and was allotted to a happy home after 5 months by CARA.
A very weak male baby was abandoned in Government Hospital (GH) and was so very weak that he was in ICU for 5 months. After recovery, he was handed over to VIT by CWC. He was categorized as a special needs child due to his slow growth and is waiting to meet his Prospective Adoptive Parents (PAP) from abroad and have selected him for adoption. He is currently waiting for the final papers and should be in a happy home soon.
A male baby was abandoned on the road by drunken parents. The police rescued the baby and handed him over to CWC who in turn handed him to VIT. The baby was taken care of at VIT for 5 months before tracing the parents and handing him over to CCI as per CWC order.
A beautiful girl baby was found abandoned on a highway in a travel bag. The police rescued her and the CWC handed her over to VIT. She was with VIT for 9 months before moving to a happy home through CARA.
A male boy born illegally to a middle-aged woman was surrendered. He was with VIT for 1 month before we were able to trace his mother and hand him over to her through CWC.
Age: 3 months
A chubby 3-month old male baby was found abandoned with a damaged eye. ChildLine rescued him and handed him over to VIT through CWC. He has grown into a healthy boy and is waiting for final Court clearance to meet his overseas adoptive parents (PAP).
A chubby girl baby was abandoned in GH and was in the hospital for 34 days and was handed over to VIT through CWC. She grew to become a beautiful girl and was with VIT for 6 months until she found a happy home through CARA.
Age: 6 months
Twin children around 6-months old were surrendered by an unwed mother and CWC them handed over to IT. They were with VIT for 3 months before they found a happy home through CARA.
Age: 6 days
A chubby 6-day old baby girl was surrendered by an unwed mother and handed over to VIT by CWC. She was with VIT for 4 months before finding a happy and loving home through CARA.
A chubby male baby born to an unwed mother was surrendered by her. He was very sick and in the hospital for 2 months and later handed over to VIT through CWC. He has been classified as special needs child and is anxiously waiting for a happy home
